I will admit I am one of those sad *cough*awesome*cough* people that will let the odd (safe) decoration or two creep into tanks and I am looking for ideas! They will go in a couple of weeks before and stick around a couple of weeks after, nothing major either so as to avoid stressing the crabs out with needless total tankovers. Since this is a yearly event this can be a master thread where anyone with ideas, pictures or such can contribute. I'd love to see yours. So far the ideas (from various crabbers) are: Plastic or glazed ceramic cauldrons for plantpots, moss pits and hides. Plastic tombstones Zombie or skeleton hands coming out the substrate Dry moss with fake spiders Mini pumpkins, carved or otherwise (doubles as food!) Safe natural strings of popcorn, nuts and dried orange foods Dried autumn shade leaves Dried corn on the cob External backgrounds Homemade mini broomsticks made with natural twigs, branch pieces, dried grass/vines/hemp/jute to bind.

What about plastic bats and skeletons? I bet you could replace the elastic with hemp twine if they are not painted or flakey. 99p shops had unpainted skeles in last year.

YEAH! I love this idea! I love Halloween and all "horror" stuff! Mine got some Halloween elements in their tanks. And I have my Halloween things in my apartment - all days of a year
