Links to other forums and hermit crab type stores are not permitted unless prior permission is obtained from the Admin. The same goes for any form of adverts for goods and services. This permission given at staff discretion and any posted without it will be removed. We ask that you respect the staff decisions on this matter, if you have a query about this please contact me.

Crabby Cravings forum welcomes young members to join, not just adults, and the staff do everything possible to ensure that the forum is free from inappropriate language, links etc. HOWEVER it is the responsibility of the parent and/or guardian to monitor the use of the internet by young children and we ask that you do so at all times.
Rule breaches will be handled on a case by case basis with verbal or formal warnings being the preferred option. Repeat or serious offenses will result in a ban.
- Treat each other with respect. We all have different beliefs and opinions, and while healthy polite debate is ok name calling, flaming etc is not acceptable. Racist comments and other posts along these lines fall under this.
- No bullying. This should be common sense and falls under the above. If you do not get on with somebody please block or ignore them, and if you are being harassed please notify the staff.
- No swearing. This includes using *s to block out parts of words and anything that is done to get around the filter. The forum is open to families and as such anything posted needs to be suitable for all ages.
- No adult content or gore. Same as above, if it is not suitable for small children or would make your grandma blush don't post it!
- No spamming. Spamming links or other content is not allowed. This includes hidden links to random items, attempts to advertise other stores and repeatedly reposting the same content to flood the forum. Please see the links rule section below!
- No begging. It is rare but sadly sometimes people feel the need to beg people for free stuff and while a genuine offer of help is nice begging for handouts is not.
- Multiple accounts generally are not accepted. This is to help combat spam and other issues using second accounts deceitfully can bring. If you need to set up a second for some reason please give us a heads up PM with the username info and why.
- If you see a post that is in breach of these please report it. Admins are only human and this will draw our attention to it much faster.

- Unsolicited PMs and inappropriate messages may result in a ban. If these occur save them and report to staff.
- Attempts to sell items, advertise shops/sites, harvest members for other forums or beg for free stuff may result in a ban.
- The shoutbox will be removed if rules are repeatedly broken within, it is currently in a trial period to allow members to enjoy live chat safely.
